Mr. Jack Edward Burrows

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Jack Edward Burrows at Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the age of 52 years, with his family by his side. Jack was born in Banff, Alberta on March 6, 1966. Jack worked at the Michener Centre, Red Deer, Alberta for a number of years as an aide, and was a volunteer firefighter at Michener during that time. Jack pursued his nursing career from Grant MacEwan College through the Alberta Hospital Ponoka campus, graduating in 2005. He worked as a nurse as long as he was able. Jack will be sadly missed by his mother, Elaine Quinn (Red Gallant), sisters, Debbie and Karry Burrows, nieces, Lindsey Burrows and Emma Langenhoff, nephews, Cody Hutton, Josh and Mathew Leonard; grand nephew, Grayson Hutton, grand nieces, Camryn Langevin and Marley Badarm, step sisters Carlene and Collette and step brother, Kelly Quinn; and numerous relatives and friends. Jack was predeceased by his father, Raymond Burrows, step father, Wayne Quinn, grandparents, Jack and Dorothy Burrows, and Marvin and Violet Becker. If desired, Memorial Donations in Jack’s honour may be made directly to Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, Unit 23, 3942 – 50 A Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 4E7. A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held at the Blackfalds Community Centre, 4810 Womacks Road, Blackfalds, Alberta of Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
