Mr. Allison Robert Tays

Mr. Allison Robert Tays of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, surrounded by his family, on Friday, April 19, 2019 at the age of 71 years. Allison was born in Passekeag, New Brunswick on October 13, 1947, the son of Gordon and Ruth (nee Reid) Tays. Allison enjoyed a long career as a Train Conductor for the Canadian National Railway. He took great pleasure woodworking, and dancing, as well as gardening and attending auctions. Allison was a long standing member of the Canadian Royal Legion. Allison will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Robert (Nicole), Don, and Ron; and his grandchildren, Brianna, Brandon, and Dylan. He will also be fondly remembered by his sister, Marilyn (Mark) Witt, his sister-in-law, Willa Tays, and his brother-in-law, Floyd Luttrel. Allison was predeceased by his parents, Ruth and Gordon, his brothers, Gordon, Harold and Donnie, and his sisters, Erma, Thelma, and Lorna. No Memorial Service will be held at Allison’s request.
