Born August 16, 1960

Michael passed in hospital on June 20, 2025 at the age of 64.

He was predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Ellen Siebold, his oldest sister Shirley Bullock and by his oldest niece Jerrilyn and her children Rebecca and Anthony.

Michael is survived by his son Zachary Hamelin, brother David Siebold of Ponoka, sister Donna (Rick) Greenwood of Clearwater BC and several nieces and nephews.

Michael was the youngest of four children and grew up in Red Deer where he spent most of his life.  He spent a few years working in Camrose and Edmonton while living in Bawlf but returned to Red Deer where he spent his last years.

He was a Journeyman Autobody Mechanic and avid angler and hunter.  Hunting trips to what he referred to as the Wets County was time well spent with his brother and his dad though they didn’t harvest much.  He and Dad also spent way to much time working on vehicles that they chose to repair or rebuild, and they were immensely proud of each project.  His favorite summer pastime was fishing and camping and his favorite winter pastime was waiting for summer.

Hope the fish are always biting.
