Michael (Mike) William Eastham
October 23, 1948 – September 18, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael (Mike) William Eastham, who left us peacefully on September 18, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on October 23, 1948, Mike was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Therese Eastham, and his cherished stepchildren, Troy Donald (Sherri), Char Larson (Justin), and Michelle Donald (Mitchell). He was a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Krysta Shippelt (Ryan), Jessica Bennett (Dennis), Dayton Larson (Elyse), Colton Donald (Jessica), Kaynyn Larson, Tyron Cahill (Jenaya), as well as his great- grandchildren Aaralee, Briley, Finley, Atlas, and Riley.
A dedicated and hardworking man, Mike spent over 30 years serving the community through his work with the Ministry of Transportation. He retired knowing he had made a difference.
He spent many years as a devoted volunteer with the church, where Mike touched countless lives through his compassion, faith and willingness to serve.
Mike was the unofficial family photographer-always snapping pictures at gatherings and capturing memories. If you were on his phone list, chances are you got the whole photo album whether you asked for it or not.
In his earlier years, Mike and Therese shared countless adventures together travelling, hiking, dancing, and bowling.
He also had a love for karaoke and rarely gave up the microphone when a favorite song came on.
Mike’s memory will live on not only in the hearts of his loved ones but also in the small, unforgettable quirks that made him who he was.
If you ever met Mike, chances are he wrote down your name, contact information, and favorite things to ensure you made it onto his Christmas card list.
Mike was notorious for locking doors and you would often find yourself locked out of places when he was around. If heaven’s gates have keys, he’s surely found a way to lock them.
Ever practical, Mike carefully counted and recorded his bottles for return, determined to help the workers while ensuring he never got shortchanged. And in true Mike fashion, he wore safety glasses even when mowing the lawn.
This past year, Mike and Therese joyfully celebrated their silver wedding anniversary, a milestone that filled them with love and happiness.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather in remembrance.
Mike’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His love, humor, and spirit will never be forgotten.
