Matthew Evo Borlé
1979–2026
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our brother, son, father, and friend, Matthew Evo Borlé, at the age of 47.
If you knew Matt, you knew music was a huge part of who he was. He was happiest with a guitar in his hands, whether he was playing classic rock, folk, or just jamming with friends, music was where he felt most at home.
Matt’s life wasn’t always easy. He faced more than his share of struggles, but those struggles never defined who he was. He was funny, talented, smart, and when he loved, he loved very deeply.
More than anything, Matt loved his kids. He leaves behind his children, Aislin, Hunter, Gibson, and Jordan, who meant the world to him.
Matt is lovingly remembered by his mom, Lynne; his brothers, Dave (Kim), Mark, and Jeff (Corrie-Lynn); along with nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends whose lives were made better by knowing him.
He was predeceased by his dad, Evo, whom we know, was there to welcome him home.
Matt also leaves behind Mandy Borlé, the mother of his children, together they built a family that meant everything to him.
While we wish we had more time with him, we’re thankful for the memories, the music, the laughs, and the love he left with us. We choose to remember Matt for who he was,not for the battles he fought, but for the heart he had.
“Songs of freedom.”
Forever loved. Forever missed.
