It is with great sadness we announce that Marlene Lucille Wipf of Olds, Alberta passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 19, 2019 at the age of 68 years. Marlene was born on in Red Deer, Alberta. She is survived by her loving husband, Andy Wipf; children Marla Jo Ribucan and Jodi (Ray) Bergeron; two special grandchildren Olivia and Sophie Bergeron, as well as numerous family members and friends. Marlene will be remembered for being kind hearted with a gentle soul, a twinkle in her eye, her exceptional work ethic, willingness to help, listen and care for anyone in need. Marlene was strong in spirit and faith, was determined, willing to meet any challenge head on and to make the most of any situation. She had a passion for life and will leave a beautiful legacy behind in her children and grandchildren. Marlene was predeceased by her mother Eva Cooper (1998) and father Jack Cooper (2006). A memorial service will be held at the East Olds Baptist Church (on Highway 27, approx. 20 kms east of Olds) on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Marlene’s honor may be directed to the East Olds Baptist Church, RR 1, Site 5, Box 27, Olds AB T4H 1P2 or and to the Central Alberta Humane Society, 4505 – 77 St., Red Deer AB T4P 2J1.
