Lynn Bryan Schwark
Lynn Bryan Schwark of Red Deer, Alberta passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side at the Red Deer Hospice Society on the morning of Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at the age of 71 years.
Lynn was born on October 15,1952 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta to Edward and Elsie Schwark. They move to Red Deer where he attended Lindsey Thurber High School. There he forged many life long friendship. In his early years he worked for Border Paving and went on to become a cement finisher. A kind hearted soft spoken man of few words, Lynn was known by his close family and friends as a matter of fact, down to earth, hard working man, friend, son, brother, uncle, grandfather and father.
He loved all sports, especially hockey and golf. During the golf season you would find him daily at his favourite course, Red Deer’s Balmoral Golf Club. In his latter years he found a love for travelling. Visiting Mexico, Honduras and returning many times to Thailand where he found a new love in life.
Lynn was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Elsie. The memory of Lynn’s legacy will be forever held in the hearts of his surviving family; daughter Susannah (Stephen); son Sean (Chantal); grandchildren Zachary and Elle. We will miss you dad.
The family would like to extend gratitude to all the staff that gave Lynn exceptional care on unit 32 of the Red Deer Hospital and at the Red Deer Hospice Society. Care and kindness leave footprints eternally on a heart. What you collectively gave to Lynn and his family will be forever remembered and cherished.
