Lorraine Lillian Engel (Parry/Schultz)

Peacefully on March 29, 2025, Lorraine passed away surrounded by family and friends at the Red Deer Hospital at the age of 82.

She was predeceased by her husband Fred, biological parents John & Lillian Parry and adoptive parents Reynold and Elsie Schultz, sister Rose, brothers Jack, Bev & Don, and nephew Stacey. Lorraine will always be lovingly remembered by her daughter Lorna(Curtis) Meghan & Kaden, son Kevin Chance(Kayla), Mac & Austin(Jocelyn), stepdaughter Fran(Chuck) Chad, Colton & Collin & Great granddaughter Hennessey, stepson Erwin(Chrystal) nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Lorraine loved family & friends, shopping and just being around people. In the earlier days Fred & Lorraine would go camping & quadding out west with good friends Lorie & Brenda and their kids, family and other friends would also gather and have lots of laughter and stories around the fire. Travelling to Hawaii which was a trip of a lifetime for them.

In the past few years Lorraine has continued to be a positive lady in many people’s lives and continued to make friends wherever she went. 

The family is sincerely grateful to the staff on Unit 32 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital for their care during mom’s time there.

A Celebration of life will be held on Monday April 14, 2025, Red Deer Funeral Home & Crematorium 6150-67 Street, Red Deer Alberta at 1:00 PM with viewing taking place at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CNIB – Red Deer Chapter, Heart & Stroke or MS Society
