Lorne Archibald “Archie” Greig of Red Deer, passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2021, at the age of 64 years.
Archie was born in Calgary in December of 1956. He spent his childhood years on the family farm near Trochu AB and later spent time living and working throughout Alberta. Archie enjoyed his career working as a heavy-duty mechanic, truck driver and served many years in the oilfield as well as in client care at Michener Services. Archie was a loving father who enjoyed the outdoors with his sons and helping out on the farm.
Archie will be lovingly remembered by two sons Daniel (Chelsey) and Adrian (Lindsay); two grandchildren; one brother Cliff Greig; three sisters Darlene (Mel) Schultz, Jean (Paul) Frere and Cathy (Kevin) Gordon. Also, to cherish Archie’s memory are his mother Agnes Greig as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Due to current Covid social gathering restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details will be posted once restrictions have eased and arrangements finalized.
