Lorie Ellen Warren

The family of Lorie Ellen Warren of Red Deer AB are saddened to announce her passing on April 28, 2021 at the age of 65 years. Lorie was born in the Red Deer Hospital and grew up on the family farm east of Delburne. She loved farm life and was especially fond of horses, dogs, and cats. After graduating from Delburne High School, Lorie worked in Red Deer at the Michener centre and various group homes for many years. A highlight of her adult life was a trip to England with two of her cousins. They connected with her mother’s family and got to know her extended family as well as doing much sightseeing.
Lorie will be deeply missed by her brother Robert (Delores) Powell; sister in law Gail English; nieces Wendy Powell and Kim Powell and nephews Richard Powell, Roger Powell, Bruce Powell and Jason Powell as well as other family members and friends. She was predeceased by parents Jack and Olive Powell; brothers Harold and Allen; sister-in-law Diana and niece Carrie.
Due to the current COVID 19 social gathering restrictions, a family memorial will be held at a later date.
