Lois Jean Dibb was born May 6, 1934 in Calgary at the General Hospital. She died peacefully in her home on May 25, 2020. Jean will be dearly missed by her sister Evelyn; sons James (Jeanne) and Don (Sharon); grandchildren Amanda, Tyson, Randy and Bryon; great-grandchildren Sara, Khloe, Aurora. She was a loving aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt and cousin to many. She was predeceased by her mother and father Aline and James Greig; husband Robert Dibb, and brother Kenneth James Greig. Jean served her church with loyalty and devotion. She loved to cook and shared that with the many years she spent at Camp Harmattan cooking. Jean also worked some time at Associated Grocers Cash and Carry on the order desk and as a telephone operator in Kimberly, BC when Jean and Robert were first married. Jean often talked about a certain gentleman that would call every Saturday night and asked to be put through to the Queen of England, which she did. Jean had a passion for camping and enjoyed a good fire, good company, good conversation and had many friends. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Brown Bag For Lunch Program for Kids.
