It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Lila Jean McColman (nee Demas). Lila passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019 at the Centennial Centre, Ponoka, Alberta at the age of 91 years after a short bout of pneumonia. Lila will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bruce; sons Barry and John; daughter Carol as well as 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by infant son Joseph in 1964. She was also predeceased by one brother, Emery, and two sisters, Katherine Bidinger and Mary Maki. A Funeral Service will be held at the Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 20 – Kovac Street, Red Deer, on Saturday, April 13 at 2 p.m.. Condolences to Lila’s family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net.
