Kenneth "Ken" Lindsay Sandquist

With heavy hearts and profound sadness, the family of Kenneth “Ken” Lindsay Sandquist announces his passing on October 24, 2017 in Red Deer AB. The youngest of five children, Ken was born in July of 1968 in High Prairie, AB to Marlene and Kenneth Sandquist Sr., where he lived at home until graduating high school.
Ken is survived by his loving wife Christine; sons Brayden and Nathan; parents Marlene and Kenneth; siblings Rick (Marianne), Aubrey, Marlee (Roger), and Brad; sister-in-law Teresa (Ken); brother-in-law Patrick (Lynn); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ken’s quick wit, humour and intelligence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Our deepest gratitude to the staff of The Red Deer Hospice Society who took such good care of Ken and his family during his final days.
A funeral service will be celebrated at at St Mary’s Catholic Church, 6 – McMillan Ave, Red Deer on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.. Memorial donations can be made in Ken’s honour to the Red Deer Hospice Society at www.reddeerhospice.com or The Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research at www.donate.sunnybrook.ca/braincancerresearch.
