Katie Sarah May Cave

Peacefully on March 7 2018, Katie Sarah May Cave passed away suddenly at 29 years of age. She was predeceased by her grandfather John Hutlet Sr and aunt Catherine Hand. Katie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Aiva Rose Fernandez, mother Jill Cave and stepfather Tony Redhot; father Stacey McMeeken: twin brother Cody (Chandel), Brothers Brandon , and Damien (Samantha); Grandmother Freeda Chellew; many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Katie was a remarkable nurse, graduating with honors in the top of her class in 2014 from the Red Deer College. She was a devoted mother and friend to anyone and everyone, and would make sure she would go the extra mile to help anyone anytime however she could. She enjoyed spending her time going on walks, picnics in the park, making amazing foods and kids of all ages. She was everyone’s crazy auntie Katie with a heart of absolute gold. Her daughter friends and family were everything to her. She was always sure to make every moment count and make it special for everyone she encountered.
A Celebration of Katies life be held on, Wednesday March 28 at Sacred Heart Parish 5508 48A Ave. Red Deer, Alberta.
The family is sincerely grateful for all of the condolences, gifts and support during this grievous time.
A special thanks to the wonderful staff at Eventide funeral home for everything they have done. A special thanks also to all the housekeeping staff and those on Unit 25 and OBOR at the Red Deer Regional Hospital.
