Judi (Judes) McCoy of Red Deer, Alberta passed away peacefully in her home on January 8, 2023, at the age of 69 years.
Judi (Judes) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 8, 2023 after her short courageous battle with cancer. She was born in the small town of Wetaskiwin, Alberta on May 28, 1953. She is survived by her 2 amazing daughters Tara Moore and Kelsi Thomsen (Ken Thomsen), her 3 Grandsons Dominic, Kaylem, and Leo, as well as her brother Bob Mieske (Bonnie Mieske). She was always the life of the party and always had a smile on her face, she was loved by so many and will be missed more than words can say. Don’t cry because she is gone, smile because you got to know her and were in her life for a reason. She will leave a footprint in your hearts that you will never forget. Judi was predeceased by her Mother Anne Mieske and her father Rupert (Mickey) Mieske.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Judi’s life will be held at JD’s Pub, located at 1493 Gaetz Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. No children under the age of 18 will be allowed. There will be an open microphone for anyone who would like to say anything or tell some funny stories. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to Paws and Claws animal rescue through their email at treasurer@pawsandclawsanimalrescue.ca, please put your email or mailing address if you would like a tax receipt for any donations over $20.00.
