Dean passed away peacefully at the age of 64, on October 22, 2021 surrounded by his family at Red Deer Regional Hospital.

Dean was predeceased by his parents Joe and Anne Mowbray. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Lindy (Larry) Yackulic, nephew Matthew (Theresa) and niece Jennifer (Shawn), his great nephews and nieces; as well as his very close extended family Elaine Periard (Ryan), Elaine’s sons Jason and Cory Mann, her daughter Lisa Williams and his adopted grandchildren.

Dean spent many years finding his niche in life and spent many of those years working in the oil and gas industry and loving his life at Sylvan Lake.

After taking ill he retired from the position he was in, finding his love of golf, which was helpful in keeping him healthy and happy. Dean was a big fan of both hockey and fishing, and took pride in trying to pass this on to his adopted grandchildren.

He will truly be missed by all his family and friends.

The family is sincerely grateful to all the staff at the Red Deer Regional Hospital, as well as the many doctors that helped Dean throughout the years.

Memorial donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the charity of ones choice.
