It is with immense sadness that the family of John Alphonse Cronin announce that he has gone to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 7, 2022.
John was born in Seaforth, Ontario in 1947. John’s greatest love and source of absolute pride was his family. He wanted nothing more than to spend quality time with his wife, Dolores, his three children, and his two granddaughters. He was known by everyone to be extremely hardworking and always willing to lend a hand to anyone.
John is survived by his loving wife Dolores (Maloney) Cronin, his daughters Laurie (Chris) McIlravey and Tammy (Colin) Cronin, granddaughters Julia and Kiara McIlravey, four brothers and three sisters in Ontario and many friends. He is predeceased by his son, Shawn Cronin, his parents Alphonse and Annie Cronin and his brothers Leo and Alphonse Cronin.
A celebration of John’s life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in John’s memory to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 47 Squire Baker’s Lane, Markham ON, L3P 3G8, or online here, would be greatly appreciated.
Condolences for John’s family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net.
