Jim Kitchen Feb 19, 1947 – Jan 11, 2026
Our beloved dad has unexpectedly passed and is now with our mom.
He leaves an immeasurable void in our lives and is lovingly remembered by his daughters, son- in- laws and grand children: Tanya (Paul, Chloe, Charlotte, Ciara, and Caitlin), Stacy (Mike, Lyla, and Nolin), and Stephanie (Jarrod, Quinn, and Eve).
After completing his post-secondary studies in Forestry, he was recruited by Esso in 1978 and headed west to Alberta. Following a long and successful career, he and Nora embraced entrepreneurship, founding JSK Consulting in 1995. He worked tirelessly, loved his family fiercely, and was always impeccably put together. A devoted sports fan, he loved the Calgary Flames and the Toronto Blue Jays, travelling the world with Nora, his family and most especially time spent with his beloved grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Eileen and Stewart Kitchen and is survived by his siblings: June, Barbara and Mike (Joan).
Though our hearts are heavy, we are endlessly grateful to have had the privilege of calling him ours.
He faced adversity with unwavering courage and showed us, by example, the true meaning of strength.
We are forever grateful for the lessons he taught, the love he gave so freely, and the laughter we shared. He will be missed beyond measure.
