OBITUARY
Jeannette King (Bonneville) died peacefully in Red Deer on December 22, 2018 at the age of 77 years. She is survived by her daughter Michele King (Barry) of Rocky Mountain House; son Grant King (Mandy) of Sydney, Australia; sister Dorothy Stolen of Westlock and children Jody and Jade, brother Lionel Bonneville (Linda) of Athabasca and children Courtney and Casey and sister-in-law Madeline Bonneville of St. Albert and children Suzette, Lynn and Danielle; and close friend Ken Wilton of Red Deer. She is predeceased by her son Scotty, husband Ken King, and brother Bob Bonneville. Jeannette was born the second oldest of four children on January 20, 1941 in Lestock, Saskatchewan to Catherine and Sylvio Bonneville. She married Ken King on October 17, 1964 in Edmonton. They moved to Slave Lake and then onto Grimshaw where Ken worked in the oilfield and Jeannette was a mother and homemaker and started her life as an Oilwife. In 1969 they moved to Red Deer where they lived in a mobile home on Mr. Bowers land while they built their home in Lynn Valley (Valleyview) Subdivision. Jeannette was a talented homemaker and loved gardening, decorating and golfing. She was a generous, kind hearted and witty person who loved getting dressed up, going out dancing and spending quality time with friends and family. She was an active member of the Oilwives Club of Alberta for many years and served a term as President. A memorial will take place this summer in Red Deer.
