James “Jim” Stanley Colbert of Red Deer, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on September 25, 2017 at the age of 83 years. Jim is survived by one son Bruce (Karen) Colbert of Red Deer; one daughter Susan Colbert of Airdrie; grandson Daniel (Sandi) Colbert of Sylvan Lake and Dylan (Katie) Colbert of Killam and one great granddaughter, Melanie Colbert. Jim is also survived by one brother; three sisters as well as numerous other family members and friends. A Memorial Service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held at the Deer Park Alliance Church, 2960 – 39 St, Red Deer AB on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the STARS Foundation Box 570, 1441 – Aviation Park NE, Calgary AB T2E 8M7.
