Jack “Snake” Connon of Innisfail, Alberta passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Innisfail Health Care Centre on February 20, 2020 at the age of 62 years. Jack was born in Innisfail, Alberta to Jean and Bill Connon, and since he was three years old loved designing roadways in the dirt, so it was not surprising when Jack went into road construction. Jack loved his yard and his flowers, he planted them with great care and love and sheltered them from storms of any kind. He was also a huge sports fan, watching whatever he could on television, or a short walk over to the school grounds to watch the young men play football. Jack will be sadly missed by his sisters: Florence (Jim) Reiber, Janis (John) Dolan; his niece, Jacquiline and his nephew Hugh (Darla) and two great nieces and two great nephews along with a host of friends, especially Bernie Vanderham and Dave Hanford. A Jack’s request, a family service will be held at the Innisfail Columbarium where he will join his mom for eternal rest. Memorial Donations in Jack’s name may be made directly to the Red Deer Hospice Society, 99 Arnot Ave. Red Deer, Alberta, T4R 3S6 or the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
