Charmaine quietly and peacefully passed away on May 4, 2018, a month prior to her 89th birthday. She was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta where she resided until the age of 14. Her family then moved to Red Deer, Alberta where she would later meet her husband Daniel Carritt. They married in Red Deer where they raised their family until 1975 before relocating to Edmonton. Charmaine was a long standing member of the Windermere Golf Club who also enjoyed painting, attending the Edmonton Eskimo football games, and spending as much time as possible with her family. She is survived by her daughter Marcy (David); son David (Debbie); her adored grandchildren Corrie (Joël), Alana (Fahim), Jody-Lynn (Mark); and her cherished great grandchildren Malia, Kai, Laree, and Aliyah. She was predeceased by her parents Mary and John Schlag, stepfather Barney, husband Daniel, and grandson Colin. She will be greatly missed by all. May she rest in peace and enjoy many rounds of golf in heaven! We love you.
