Gerald Bohn

Gerald Bohn, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2023, at the age of 76, in Red Deer, Alberta.

Gerald was born on March 18, 1947, in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan, to Christena and Sylvester Bohn. He was the oldest of two children, with a younger brother Danny.

Gerald was an avid farmer, raising cattle and tending to the land. He was an animal lover, and his little dog Toby was his constant companion. He also loved camping, fishing, and watching the Toronto Blue Jays.

Gerald was a devoted husband to his wife, Jeanne, for over 41 years. He was a loving father to his daughters Cindy (Ian) and Michele (Neil), and his son Dustin (Sara). He was a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Dion, Mitchell, Ashley, Connor and Mckenna, whom he adored.

Gerald was a kind and gentle soul, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was a generous and loyal friend, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Gerald’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be remembered for his kindness, his generosity, and his unwavering love for his family.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Red Deer Funeral Home, 6150 67 Street, Red Deer, Alberta. Memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
