Gerald Edward von Hollen

With heavy hearts and a lot of sadness, we say goodbye to Gerald Edward von Hollen.
Gerald was born on January 18, 1955 at Condor, Alberta, and died on August 23, 2018. He spent his entire life around the Condor area, where he was born and raised.
Gerald spent 30 years in the oil patch then retired to spend the rest of his life on the farm and working in his scrapyard. He loved auction sales and hanging out with friends and family, and was always ready with a joke or a helping hand if one was needed.
Gerald leaves to mourn his wife Dianne, sons Jeremy and AJ, and grandchildren Ashlee, Makayla and Andrew.
He was predeceased by his parents Lillian and Ted. He leaves his brothers Arlin (Faye), Harold (Brenda), Ernie (Della), Don (June), Terry (Suella) and sister Jean (Paul) along with numerous nieces and nephews.
As per his wishes, there will be no funeral. Donations in Gerald’s name may be sent to the Cross Cancer Institute (Edmonton), 11560 University Ave, Edmonton, AB, T6G 1Z2.
