Gayle Chomyshen passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday July 21, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Gayle was born in Red Deer, AB and spent the majority of her younger years in Blackfalds. In 1983 she and Jim moved the family to Rocky where she would spend the remaining years of her life. Gayle brought smiles to everyone she encountered. Even through her battle, she did her best to keep a positive attitude. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and going on road trips. Gayle is survived by her children Anna, Judy, Brenda; granddaughter Jazmyn; the father of her children Jim; sisters Sharon Fridd, Elaine (Rick) Brooks as well as numerous nieces & nephews and many special friends she considered family. She was predeceased by her parents Frank & Tracy Raven; sister Darlene and brother in law Charlie. Please join us in celebration of Gayle’s life on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Lou Soppit Community Center, 4733 – 54 Ave., Rocky Mountain House AB.
