In loving memory

Mr. Frederick Charles Pye passed away, following a short battle with cancer, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the age of 75 years. Fred will be lovingly remembered by his wife Nancy; children Dean (Julie), Shirley (Trevor), Nita (Jamie) and Dan (Chelsea); his grandchildren Amanda (Curtis), Lance, Leah (Garrett), Leanna, Amber (Pete), Jamie Jr, Brooklyn and Sawyer. Fred will also be sadly missed by his siblings, Doreen (George), Ches (Irene) and Russ (Lynne) and his nieces and nephews. Fred was predeceased by his parents George and Dorothy Pye of Red Deer, Alberta. As per Fred’s request no funeral service will be held, instead a celebration of life will take place with his immediate family when his ashes are spread.

Fred’s family would like to thank the staff of the Red Deer Regional Hospital, Unit 31 for their dedicated support and care. If desired, memorial tributes in Fred’s name may be made directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
