Frances Margaret Harrison

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frances Margaret Harrison (nee Murdoch) of Red Deer, Alberta on February 23rd, 2024 at the age of 81 years.
Frances was born on October 17th, 1942 in Drumheller, Alberta to Bernice and Wallace Murdoch, but grew up in the small hamlet of Michichi. In 1962, Frances married her beloved husband George, whom she was with for almost 62 years before her passing. In 1979 Frances and George started their oil field company Big Country Electric. Fran enjoyed playing piano and was quite skilled at it. She was also was an avid reader, always looking for a good book. In their retirement, Fran and George found a love for traveling. They traveled all over the world. Frances will forever be remembered for her kind personality, and her contagious laugh that could always put a smile on your face.
Frances is lovingly remembered by her husband George, brother Rick (Trish) Murdoch, daughter Denise (Mike) Ryan, son Kevin Harrison, grandson Nick (Ashley), Ryan, and great grandsons Isaac and Liam Ryan, as well as many family members and friends. She will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life for Frances will be held on Monday, March 11th at 11:00 am, at the Red Deer Funeral Home and Celebration Centre, located at 6150 67th Street.
