It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frances Alice Bosse, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who left us peacefully at the age of 76 on August 22, 2024, at the Stony Plain Care Center. Born to Alice Cornelia Seath, Frances was lovingly raised by her grandparents Dorothy Elizabeth and John Blyth Seath, who instilled in her the values of kindness, resilience, and love that she carried throughout her life.
Frances was the cherished wife of Terry Bosse. Terry’s devotion to Frances was evident to all who knew them and together, they built a beautiful family, raising two children, Terri Lynn Digness (Ken) and Wayne Bosse. Frances was a devoted mother who provided her children with unwavering support, guidance and affection. Her nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren, Graeme (Amber), Garrett, and Kendra. She also had the joy of welcoming her 1st great-grandchild, Wren, into the world.
Frances received her nursing diploma in Red Deer, upon which she and Terry moved to Calgary where she worked at the Holy Cross Hospital. After the children were born, they briefly lived in Black Diamond before transferring to Innisfail, Alberta where she worked as a Licensed Practical nurse at the Innisfail Health Centre until she retired in 2003.
Frances was predeceased by her parents, Alice and Lawrence Klinger, her grandparents, as well as brothers, Richard and Harold Klinger. She leaves behind her brother Ken Klinger, who, along with her family, will forever cherish her memory and the countless moments of laughter and love they shared.
Frances was known for her warm heart, her sharp wit, and her generous spirit. She had a profound impact on all who knew her, and her loss leaves a void that can never be filled. Her family finds solace in knowing that she is now at peace and reunited with those she loved who went before her.
Frances will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, kindness, and family will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their support and love and for the exceptional care provided by the dedicated nurses, caregivers, and staff at the Good Samaritan, Stony Plain Care Centre who treated Fran with dignity, compassion, and kindness. Your support has been a source of great comfort during this difficult time.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Fran’s life on Sept 28, 2024 at Eventide Funeral Home, Red Deer, Alberta at 1pm. She will be laid to rest in Alto Reste cemetery in Red Deer by her immediate family following the service.
