Felicitas "Chit" Alberto

Felicitas “Chit” Alberto passed away with her family by her side on November 14, 2016 after a long, hard fought battle with Kidney disease at the age of 65.
Felicitas M. Alberto was born on September 21, 1951 at Barangay San Agustin, Sto. Tomas, Pangasinan, Philippines. Her parents were Gerardo M. Alberto, Sr. and Guadalupe Morta-Alberto. She had three brothers: Franklin, Jesus and Gerardo Jr.; she had two sisters: Elvira and Nancy. Chit attended elementary school at Sto. Tomas Central School, High School at Sto. Tomas Municipal High School. She studied Pre-Nursing at Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines. She was a graduate nurse at the University of Pangasinan, Dagupan City, Philippines. After passing the Philippine Board Examination for nurses, she worked as a staff nurse at Eastern Medical Clinic a Carmen Rosales, Pangasinan, Philippines and at Perpetual succor Hospital, Manila Philippines for several years. She applied abroad to work in a hospital in Vienna, Austria. After a few years, she immigrated to Canada, where she worked as a Registered Nurse for forty years after passing the state board for nurses. She worked at Michener Services, Bethany CollegeSide and Parkland Group Home as an RN. Chit will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
A Prayer service will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation held at 6:00 p.m. for those who wish to pay their respects.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 5508- 48A Ave Red Deer, AB.
It is requested that any memorial contributions be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, 212-4711 51 Ave, Red Deer, AB T4N 6H8.
