It is with great sadness that the family of Edward (Ted) Hayden announces his passing on August 11, 2025.
Ted was born to Frank and Emma Hayden in Edmonton on February 28, 1941. The Hayden family moved to Red Deer when he was just a baby. Ted grew up participating in all levels of Boy Scouts, and was very active with the St. Luke’s Anglican Church AYPA.

Ted was an active part of the Red Deer community, he sang with the Wild Rose Harmonizers Barbershop Chorus and Red Deer Chamber Choir as well as attending St Luke’s Anglican Church where he sang in the choir and enjoyed the Mens Club. After their retirement Ted and Alice volunteered with The Red Deer Clothing Bank, and Bargain Treasures Thrift Store, and in later years especially enjoyed carpet bowling at the Golden Circle and Downtown House.
