Survived by Husband, William Donald Tirrell (married 47 yrs.)

Son; Jeremy Shane Tirrell (Josée Methot) with 4 grand sons

Daughter; Kristy Mary Ann Tirrell (Victor Leung) with 2 grand daughters

Brothers, George Currie (Darlene Currie) and Gerry Currie (Kathie Currie) with 4 nephews

Diane grew up in Bagot, Manitoba. In her teenage years while visiting a friend in Calgary, Alberta she met the love of her life Bill Tirrell.

After a short courtship Bill and Diane were married, moved to Olds then Red Deer where they lived for many years. They had two children Jeremy and Kristy. Diane worked at Radiology Associates for a decade before traveling with Bill to many destinations, finally settling in Hawaii. In 2006 Bill and Diane bought Coal Trail Greenhouse where they thrived for another decade making many lifetime friends. Quilting and cross stitch were her passion as she was very artistic and creative. In 2022 Diane was diagnosed with a rapidly progressing Alzheimer’s. She passed away June 12, 2023, at the young age of 67. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Celebration of life will be held at Red Deer Funeral Home, Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday June 17, 2023 between the hours of 2-4pm.

Memorial Donations may be made out to, Alzheimer’s Society of Alberta.
