David John Clutton
1931– 2025
It is with deep sadness that the family of David John Clutton announces his passing in October 2025, at the age of 93, at the Bethany Care CollegeSide Facility.
David was born in 1931 and will be fondly remembered for his unwavering work ethic, dedication, and loyalty to his family, friends, and customers. He was raised on a mixed dairy farm in the Pine Lake/Cumberland area and spent the majority of his life as a plumber and gas fitter.
David owned and operated Dave’s Plumbing and Heating Ltd. for 42 years and continued to work in his trade until 2023, at the remarkable age of 91. In his later years, he served as a respected foreman and assistant, admired for his experience and mentorship.
He will be deeply missed by his many friends and all who knew him. David is survived by his sisters, Ella and Joyce, and by his children: Marilyn McLeod (Darrel), Garry Clutton (Sharon), John Clutton (Leora), Susan Corkey (Ray), and Dennis Clutton (Debbie). He is also lovingly remembered by his 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marjorie Clutton (née Boyden); his brothers, Glenn, Roy, and Andrew; his sisters, Edith, Myrna, and Alice; as well as numerous in-laws and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Livingstone Church 2020 40 Ave, Red Deer, AB on November 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
