David was the 3rd born of Joseph and Edna Hicke on August 15th, 1950 in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan. David was raised in Red Deer and met his soon to be wife at Eastview Junior High. After attending Lindsay Thurber for high school he went on to the SAIT apprenticeship program to become an electrician.
