Obituary for David Charles Reiter
January 24, 1981 – April 4, 2025

 

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of David Charles Reiter on April 4, 2025, at the age of 44. David was a devoted father, a loyal son, and a hardworking man who spent much of his life working the pipelines—a career he took great pride in.

David’s greatest joy was his son, Nixxon Reiter, to whom he was deeply devoted. The bond they shared was unbreakable and filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. David also shared a special connection with his beloved fur companion, Axl, who rarely left his side.

He is survived by his son, Nixxon Reiter; his wife, Mandy Reiter; his mother, Betty Reiter; his sister, Maureen Polard; his brother, Danny Reiter; and his cherished nieces and nephew: Bella Bowe’Reiter, Hanna Cruickshank, Mattiea Cruickshank, and Kaison Polard. David’s memory will also be lovingly held by many friends, extended family members, and coworkers who were fortunate to know his strength, humor, and generous heart.

David is predeceased by his father, Dave Reiter Sr.; his grandparents, Marry and Johannes Folkerts and Dolaras and John Hilturreiter, all of whom welcomed him with loving arms.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Eventide Funeral Home, 4820 45 Street, Red Deer. Family, friends, and all those whose lives David touched are invited to attend and share in the memories of a life well lived.

David will be remembered for his resilience, his deep love for his family, and the kindness he extended to others. Though gone too soon, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.
