It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Danny Lee Nolan on November 27th after a battle with ALS. Danny was born in Red Deer on November 8th 1956 and lived his entire life in North Red Deer.

Danny leaves behind his partner Joan Smith, brother Kerry Nolan of Ochre Pit Cove, Nl., sisters-in-law Brenda and Lanell, niece Peta, nephews Trevor and Dallas, grandnieces Sarah and Jenna and grandnephews Stephen, and Mathew, and countless friends.

He was predeceased by his mother Nan, father Bill, sister Pat, and brother Grant. Danny loved animals, especially his dogs: Douglas, Jessie, Josh, Scruffy, and Ted and cats Syd and Sarah.

Danny was an avid skier, disc golfer, hiker and traveler who loved to camp at Lazy Acres. Danny worked for many years at Atco Gas before retiring.

A Celebration of Life will be held on December 20 at 3:00PM at the Red Deer Elks Lodge, 6315 Horn St, Red Deer.
