It is with indescribable heartbreak we share the tragic news that we lost our beautiful Courtney Stephanie Jones on November 28, 2020 at the young age of 37.
Courtney was born on June 30, 1983 in Red Deer to her loving parents, Stephen and Debra Jones. A sweet baby sister to her big brother Corey.
Courtney had the biggest heart, family was everything to her. Her daughter, Cali; nephew, Gavin and niece, Shelby were her pride and joy. She was such an amazing mother. Her baby was her world and to Cali her mommy was her world too. We’d watch in admiration the patience she had, the time she took, the effort she made every day to be the best mom possible to her little girl.
She was so independent from a young age and she was such a strong woman. She worked incredibly hard at her career as a Welder. She loved to travel, going to Burning Man in Nevada was a highlight, something she talked about often.
Courtney will be forever mourned and remembered by her beautiful daughter, Cali; parents, Stephen and Debra; brother, Corey and sister-in-law, Melissa; nephew, Gavin; niece, Shelby; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved her dear and who she loved back just as much.
She was pre-deceased by the love of her life, Chad Black and will be greatly missed by his family who meant the world to her; maternal grandparents, Lawrence & Rita Ridsdale and paternal grandparents, John and Vera Jones.
Courtney, I don’t know how we are going to go forward in life without you, we love you so muchand the pain of losing you is unbearable. We were so proud of you, admired your strength and your huge heart. We will miss your smile, your beautiful energy, your laugh and sense of humour so much.
Rest in peace sweet girl, the angels need you now.
