It is with deep sorrow and heartbreak that we announce the passing of Connie Aggarwal at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Friday, July 21, 2023, at the young age of 66. After a short period of being diagnosed with a brain tumor, she passed away peacefully and with family by her side.
Connie was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan on December 14, 1956, and later resided in Torrington, Alberta as a young girl. It was there where she went to school and later graduated from the University of Alberta in 1978 with a degree in Pharmacy. In 1981, she met the love of her life, Dev, while both were pharmacists at Pine Drugs in Red Deer, Alberta. It was only a few years later, on August 4, 1984, they got married in Red Deer and went on to have their three amazing children. Connie and Dev were inseparable and worked alongside each other to provide their children with the best possible lives growing up. Connie retired at the age of 55, giving her the time and opportunity to indulge in her life’s interests.
While enjoying life, Connie found most pleasure in her time traveling the world. Among her favorite and most frequent places to travel included Arizona, Mexico, and Paris; but her exploration did not stop there. Connie and Dev went to Tanzania for their honeymoon, where Dev was born and raised. Her whole family also traveled back to East Africa in 2005, and an explorative cruise of the Mediterranean Sea in 2006. Furthermore, Connie found solace in quality time with family and friends, where she always lit up any room she was in.
Connie will be remembered most by her contagious smile and laughter. She was a passionate and caring person, who exemplified family happiness and togetherness. Connie was predeceased by her father, Arne and her brother Allan. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Dev, and her three children: Natasha, Sanjay and Anand. Among others she will be remembered by are Natasha’s fiancé Kyle, Sanjay’s wife Ember and their children Breslyn and Bodhi, and Anand’s fiancé Ashley. Furthermore, her mother, Jeanette, her brothers Rob and Aaron, and lastly by countless other family members and friends.
