Clifford "Cliff" William Lennie

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our father, Clifford William Lennie who passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on May 1, 2024 at the age of 86 years. Cliff was a loving husband for 49 years to Jean, before her passing in 2012.
Cliff was also a loving father to James, Lisa (Ron), and the two dogs (“boys” Casper and Benji). He will be sorely missed by his grandchildren JC Selby, Christopher, and Rayna. Cliff is not only survived by his children and grandchildren but by his brothers-in-law Elmer (Chipley), Jim (Carolyn Scott), and countless nieces, nephews, and friends.
Cliff grew up on a small farm outside of Stoughton, SK. He left home at an early age and lived a fulfilling and interesting life. Cliff was a jack of all trades, you name a job, and he did it. He started with moving furniture, then went on to the oil patch. Cliff and Jean moved to Phoenix and Cliff went back to moving furniture. He retired after many years with Mayflower, being their top-rated furniture mover his last year. Cliff was there everyday for Jean. Cliff always had a story to tell to make you laugh.
Dad was also famous for testing your knowledge of important family dates, (“Do you remember where you/I was on this date back in 19–“). There will be many stories told and plenty of laughter to be remembered.
On Angels wings you were taken, but in our hearts you will forever be.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Condolences to Cliff’s family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net. Please indicate “Lennie” in the subject line.
