Christine Carolyn Blakey, 68, passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on January 16, 2026.  

 Christine was born on October 4, 1957 to Arnold and Grace Blakey in Edmonton where she was raised. She spent the last 25 years of her life living in Red Deer where she raised her daughter. Christine was a very devoted mother who poured her love and strength into her family and cherished her daughter above all else. She will be lovingly remembered for her kind heart, warmth and generosity and will be dearly missed by her family. Christine is survived by her daughter Grace(Jaret), her granddaughter, and her sisters, Brenda(Frans) and Marg(John), and their families.  

 A celebration of life will be held on February 7th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Eventide Funeral Home in Red Deer. Those that knew her are welcome.  

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Deer Regional Health Foundation.
