Mom passed beyond this life surrounded by family on November 30, 2016.
Pearl was born in Great Bend district, Alberta, on October 20, 1921, to Frank and Lizzie Watson. She married her beloved William “Bill” on November 18, 1944, and they farmed in Lousana until his passing on January 1, 1992.
Pearl lived her final years in Red Deer and, with the help of very special friends and the senior communities of Revera Aspen Ridge and Villa Marie, she enjoyed many activities including bingo and dancing well into her 90’s. Memories will be treasured by her daughters, Corinne McInenly (Pat Blair) and Marilyn Kerr (Roger Aubin), her grandchildren Bryan McInenly and Charlotte Aubin, great-grandchildren Domenik and Sebastyen McInenly, and by her sister Rose Partridge and brother Frank Watson.
Pearl was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Lizzie Watson, her husband Bill, sisters Ruby McKinnon and Doreen Jones, and brothers Lewis Watson and Edwin Watson.
Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Hulyk, Mom’s compassionate long-term doctor and friend; staff of RDRHC Unit 33; staff of Villa Marie, Mom’s last home for a wonderful six months; devoted members of D’Sant Direct Care Services; and all the friends and family who enriched her life.
Donations in memory of Pearl may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 202, 5913 50 Ave Red Deer, Ab T4N 4C4. or to a charity of one’s choice.
