It is with great sadness that we announce that Charles Elmer Webber passed peacefully in his home on November 2, 2021 at the age of 77 years. More commonly known as Elmer, he was born in Burntcoat, Nova Scotia. Elmer was raised in Noel, Nova Scotia, where he lived for the first 35 years of his life before moving to Central Alberta. He loved the West Country and all that it entailed. From hunting, camping, and quadding, to taking lazy Sunday drives, Elmer made the most of living in the west. Always full of adventure, with the stories to prove it! Elmer was a hard worker who experienced different jobs throughout his lifetime including truck driving, hauling heavy equipment, operating heavy equipment, and a licensed mechanic. He will be sadly missed by sons, Shawn (Cari-Lea), and Kevin (Sheena); seven grandchildren; Kayson, Lincoln, Berklee, Robin, Victoria, Sydney, and Hannah; sisters, Eleanor, and Donnie; nephew Brian and niece Joy along with their children as well as numerous friends both near and far. A small private memorial will be held at a later date for close family and friends in celebration of Elmer’s life. Please contact the family if you would like to be a part of this. Condolences to Elmer’s family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net.
