Charles (Bud) William Richardson

Charles passed away peacefully at the Michener Extended Care, in Red Deer, on March 25, 2018 at the age of 87.
He was predeceased by his parents, William and Myrtle Richardson; his loving wife, Muriel, in 1984; his brothers, David (Curly), in 1983 and Gerald (Doug), in 1999. He will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Lori (Larry) Keller of Lacombe and their children, Matthew (Danielle), Kerstin Cahoon (Cody) and their daughter, Kinsley; daughter, Bonny Downton and her children, Madison and Alli; his sister-in-laws, Marjorie (Mickey) and Margaret (Marg) Richardson, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Charles was born in Red Deer and raised in the Joffre area. Charles grew up with a love of trucking and mechanics. He operated his own trucking company working for Hopkins and Raven Construction, paving roads all over Alberta. He also worked for Red Deer Bottling. The love of his life, Muriel, left him too soon. He made many friends and had great family memories that he cherished over the years.
A private family burial will be held at Alto Reste Cemetery, on April 10, 2018, in which immediate family are welcome.
In addition, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Red Deer Golf and Country Club, on April 10, from 1- 4 p.m.; in which everyone is welcome.
