It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Caroline Christine Fillinger on Thursday, December 21st, 2023 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital.

Her two great passions in life were her husband Tony of 39 years, who she lost in June of 2022. They did everything together side by side, never one ahead of the other.

Her other passion was hairdressing. She worked in a Camrose salon before getting married and moving to Red Deer.  Once in Red Deer she worked out of her home then at the salon at the Red Deer Regional Hospital. She enjoyed styling uncle Tony’s hair, he always put himself in her hands and he never knew what hairstyle or even color he would end up with until she was done.

Memorial donations can be made to A Better World Canada, Dogs with Wings Assistance Dog Society, Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 13th, 2023 at Red Deer Funeral Home.
