It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Carol Jeanette Bourcier of Red Deer, Alberta, on September 12, 2018, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 76 years. Carol was born in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan on April 28, 1942. Carol leaves behind her loving husband, Aurel; daughter, Lianne Rowe; son, Daryl (Linda) Bourcier; grandson, Cory (Celina) Herrington; granddaughter, Shenai (Sheldon) Ferguson, as well as two great grandchildren, Gia Herrington and Raedyn Ferguson. She was predeceased by her parents, Della and George Bush. Carol graduated and met her husband of fifty seven years, at Bowness Central High School. Later, she attended Henderson’s Business College in Calgary, where she studied Bookkeeping, which became her life-time career. Carol and Aurel were married on June 24, 1961 at Bowness United Church. They had two children, both born in 1962. They returned to the same church on their 25th Wedding Anniversary to renew their vows, with their daughter and son being their Maid of Honor and Best Man. They lived in Calgary until 1988. They then moved to Windermere, British Columbia, for twenty three years, where they enjoyed boating, fishing, and gardening. In 2010, they retired and moved to Red Deer, Alberta. They spent their summers at their RV resort at Gull Lake.
