Burlette Caroline Looy

Burlette Caroline Looy of Red Deer, born March 6,1936 and passed away August 6,2025 with family present.
She was a very sociable person and enjoyed interacting with everyone she would meet.
Her greatest desire was to know more about her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, and that people would come to a saving knowledge of Him.
Burlette is survived by her children Myrl(Betty), Garlynn(Darlene), Diana (Ron), Darren (Corry), Trenton (Wanda), seventeen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren,
Sister Marion Gunzel, brother Denis McCrae, “one of the family” Trevor Comfort, many nieces and nephews.
As well as Jack, Greg, Keith, Brad and families, sons of her second husband, Dave Boyce.
She was predeceased by two husbands, Gerrit Looy and Dave Boyce, one sister and four brothers.
A celebration of life will be held at Deer Park Alliance Church, 1pm, Tuesday August 12, 2025.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff and doctors of Unit 23 Red Deer Regional Hospital for their care of Burlette in her short stay there.
