Browni Simpson

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Browni Simpson of Red Deer County, Alberta on January 15, 2021 at the age of 69 years.
Browni was born in Calgary, Alberta in 1951. Over the course of her life Browni was an owner / operator of a record store, worked as a bakery clerk in both Calgary and Red Deer, as a postal clerk for the provincial government, as a shipping / receiving / stores attendant at Red Deer Regional Hospital, and as a receptionist and data entry clerk at an oilfield company. Her varied employment took her to a few places where she made many long-time friendships.
Browni will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Nonie Sundstrom, Frank Neelands and Heather McLeod; step-mom Barb Neelands; step-siblings Eileen Kneisel, Dale Bysouth, Donna Gellner, Rod Bysouth and Mark Bysouth, along with their families. Also to cherish Browni’s memory are numerous cousins; aunts; and last but not least Browni’s fur baby, Dori.
Browni was predeceased by her husband Jim Simpson; mother Jean Savill; father Roy Neelands and step-father Art Savill.
Due to current Covid19 social gathering restrictions, a celebration of Browni’s life will be held at a later date.
