Brooke Rae-Anne Stout

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brooke Rae-Anne Stout at Bluffton, Alberta on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the young age of 15 years. Brooke was born into this world on August 4, 2004 in the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre. After five days of labor, Brooke came to us tongue-tied, a full head of hair, and a Stout/Gunderson attitude that would keep us all on our toes for the years ahead. Brooke grew into a sweet little girl leaving smiles whenever she left a room. Brooke honour rolled all through school and enjoyed many activities; softball, volleyball, basketball, snowboarding, camping, riding, painting and hanging out with friends and family. She loved animals, dogs especially, and had an interesting obsession for pineapples. Sadly, Brooke lost her father at the age of eight and her mother at the age of ten. Brooke will be lovingly remembered by her grandparents, Randy and Kathy Stout, Garry Gunderson, Darla Briem and Rich Bahuaud; as well as her great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. Brooke will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She was predeceased by both her mother, April Gunderson, and her father, Jason Stout. A Celebration of Brooke’s Life will be held at CrossRoads Church, 38105 Range Road 275, Red Deer County, Alberta on Thursday, February, 20, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Brooke’s honor may be made directly to the Canadian Mental Health Association at www.cmha.ca.
