Brittany Amber Lethbridge

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brittany Amber Lethbridge on June 21, 2026. At the age of 39.
Brittany was a beautiful woman with a smile that could light up any room. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a caring heart, and a gift for making friends wherever she went. She loved animals, found peace in nature, and treasured the people she cared about. Above all, she loved her children deeply.
Brittany’s life was not without its struggles. She battled addiction for many years, and those challenges led to a long period of separation from her family and the loss of custody of her children. Despite the distance, she was never forgotten. Her family searched for her for years, always hoping to find her and bring her home. Our search ended in the most heartbreaking way when we were notified of her passing.
She leaves behind her Mother Janet Lethbridge loving children, Skylar and Chaz; her sisters, Robin Chiles (Greg), Ashley Gauthier (Joel), Sheani Lethbridge (Johnathon), and Shaylin (Kieran) along with many family members and friends who will remember her with love. And being the most fun auntie was her favourite.
She predeceased her grandma (Miran Lethbridge) Grandpa (Gilbert Lethbridge) father (Rocky Lethbridge) Step father (Ken Gheseger) Grandma (Judy Cheesemen) Papa (Les Cheesemen)
Though addiction took so much from Brittany, it never defined the person she was at her core. We choose to remember her beautiful smile, her laughter, her compassion, and the love she carried for her family. We find comfort in hoping she has finally found the peace that eluded her during her life.
Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
“In lieu of flowers, the family encourages those who are struggling with addiction to seek help, and asks everyone to remember Brittany not for her illness, but for the kind and beautiful person she was.”
Till we meet again our sweet angel, we love you and will miss you forever.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Red Deer YMCA, 6319 76 Street on August 15 1:30-3 p.m.
