December 4, 1949 – February 1, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brenda Kranenborg on February 1, 2025, at the age of 75. Born in Eckville, Alberta, on December 4, 1949, Brenda was a loving wife, mother, oma, great-oma, sister, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Karl; her children, Mark (Gillian), Scott (Brianna), and Shaun; her grandchildren, Kooper, Jasper, Grace, Maeva, Shelby (Konnor), Kyra, Laila, and Luca; and her great-grandchildren, Hayes and Kolter. She is also survived by her siblings, Sheila Liebig, Lyle (Barb) Moger, Pat (Al) Woodford, Deb Waldo, and Les (Michelle) Moger, as well as family friend, Karen Paranuik. In addition, she is survived by many other beloved family members and dear friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Arnold and Ruth Moger; sister, Maureen Moger; brother-in-law, Roy Liebig; and niece, Lana Liebig.
As she completed her final journey, her faith remained strong, and she found comfort in knowing she was going to be with her Savior.
Brenda’s family was the most important thing in her life. She treasured the time spent with her loved ones, especially during family camping trips, which she loved. Sonrise Camp in Rocky Mountain House held a special place in her heart, where she could relax, reflect, and enjoy the company of her family in a peaceful setting.
Brenda worked for Canada Post for over forty years, and it was a very important part of her life. She loved serving the people of Penhold and looked forward to going to work every day. The relationships she built with both coworkers and customers were something she always cherished and held with pride. Her dedication to her job and her caring nature left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.
The family would like to thank all the hospital and hospice staff who accompanied their wife, mother, oma, and great-oma on her final journey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Deer Hospice Society.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
