Brenda Elaine Finley (Pike)
It is with great sadness we announce Brenda’s passing on September 29th, 2021 with family by her side.
We take comfort knowing she lies in the Arms of her Beloved Savior, at peace and pain free.
She was predeceased by her father Jack; grandmother Amy; and many other relatives all dear to her.
Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her Mother Marlene; brother Lorne (Barb); niece Sheila (Lee); sister Barb (Jerry); nephew Kelly; niece Lisa (Tyler); brother Roger (Linda); and numerous great nieces and nephews; her beloved “Marbles”; as well as many special friends and colleagues.
Brenda enjoyed working at the Lloydminster Public Library for 30 years forming so many meaningful and lasting relationships with her co-workers and patrons.
She was a proud Roughriders and Blue Jays fan, never missing their games. She had a passion for genealogy and her endless hours devoted to family history are valued by all. Brenda loved taking pictures, always ready for the perfect photo op.
Time spent with family was most important t Brenda. She loved spending summers and Christmas at the Lake.
Special memories of road trips, games, super hugs, exploring and adventures with “Auntie Brenda” will be cherished in the hearts of her “greats”, Ethan, Evan, Mercedes and Kage.
A Graveside Service will be held in the Maidstone Cemetery, Maidstone Sask.
Followed by a Time of Celebration and Sharing in Lloydminster.
The family is sincerely grateful to all who sent messages of faith and encouragement to support Brenda through her battle with cancer.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice.
